BEWARE USING O’KEEFE. The resource itself is perfectly fine. However, the night before the boards, I received an error message repeatedly that there was an error establishing a database connection. I immediately sought help from O’Keefe customer support, and received an email that all was resolved well after I had gone to bed for the night. When I asked for my money back the next day, I was informed that because I had reviewed more than 25 cases that this would be against O’Keefe’s refund policy since the O’Keefe’s service was available for all of the time necessary besides a 90 minute down time period. The problem that the customer service representatives at O’Keefe are not recognizing is that busy clinical cardiologists / trainees using their resource are counting on the service being available at ALL times, especially for a $200 dollar fee, and especially for the night before the EKG section of the cardiology boards. It should not matter how many cases I reviewed when I paid for a service that should be available to me at all times. I cannot comment on the quality of other resources, but I can confidently say that I would AVOID USING O’KEEFE’S given the unpredictable nature that the program will actually function and will be letting every cardiology trainee I know about my negative experience.
EDIT: Lori from customer service has noted that I asked for my money back on threat of leaving a poor review. Yes, I did that, giving O’Keefe’s a last chance to make the situation right.
